The action does not work with taskbar, explorer, and workspace.

Example of use

Task

There is an open window with the name "Parameters". It is necessary to write the name of the window to a text variable. 


Solution

Use the "Get active window name" action.

Implementation

  1. Move the "Get active window name" action to the workspace.

    and fill the "Result" parameter with a text variable created in advance. 

  2. Click "Start" in the top panel to start the robot.

Result

The program robot completed successfully. The name of the active window on the screen is written to a variable.
