Description

The action sets the selected slide layout.

Specifies the PowerPoint document, the slide number to change, and the slide layout to be set.

A slide layout is a set of placeholders for presenting content on a slide. In turn, fillers are forms for inserting text, images, and videos. Thus, the layout determines what objects will be presented on the slide and how they are arranged.

Special conditions of use 

If the specified slide has the same layout, the action will not change the slide.

Task

There is a PowerPoint document. You need to change the slide layout to "Picture with Signature".

Solution

Use the actions "Open PowerPoint document", "Set slide layout", "Save as", "Close PowerPoint document". 

Implementation

  1. Assemble a robot scheme consisting of actions: 


  2. Set the parameters of the "Open PowerPoint document" action. In the "Path to file" field, specify the path to the PowerPoint document file. In the "Visible" field, set the checkbox = true.

  3. Set the parameters of the "Set slide layout" action. In the "Document instance" field, specify the instance of the open document in which you want to set a new slide layout. In the "Slide number" field, specify the position number of the slide to which you want to change the layout. In the "Slide layout" field, specify one of the slide layouts, excluding the one that has already been set.

  4. Set the parameters of the "Save as" action. In the "The document instance" field specify the instance of the open document to be saved. 

  5. Set the parameters of the "Close PowerPoint document" action. In the "The document instance" field, specify the instance of the open document to be closed.

  6. Start the robot using the "Start" button in the top panel. 

Result

The program robot completed successfully. The specified slide moved to a new position.
