The "Object groups" section is intended for:
viewing the list of objects added to the current tenant;
adding objects to the tender.
The section has a separate tab for each type of object groups (hosts, robots, etc.).
In the current release, only the tab with the list of machines is available. Other objects are added to the tenant when they are created or published, but tabs for viewing them have not been implemented yet. |
"Hosts" tab
The following actions are available on the tab:
User table description
The partition table contains a list of host accounts (server or personal computer) whose data has been added to the platform database. The host data is automatically transferred by the ROBIN Agent as soon as the installation of the client part of the platform on this machine is completed. Thus, these are hosts that have a robot execution system - you can launch robots on them or get information about robots that have already been launched (for more information, see the Orchestrator Module section).
Column name/button name | Description |
"Host" column | The name of the host and its IP address. |
"Publication into tenant" column | The date and time when the host account was added to the current tenant. |
"Account" column | The name of the host account. |
Use the "Columns" drop-down list to select which columns will be hidden or displayed, with the "Account" column always displayed.
Adding a host to a tenant
If the required host account is not added to the tenant, the user will not be able to use it to launch robots and view its current status while working in the system within that tenant.
To add a host account to the tenant, follow the steps:
In the Machine drop-down list, select the host whose account you want to add to the current tenant. The list displays only hosts whose accounts have been added to the platform database but have not yet been distributed anywhere.
Select an account from the Account drop-down list. You can select one or more host accounts.
It is also possible to click on the "Add and select next" button if you want to add the account(s) of the selected host machine, and continue adding accounts for other machines.
