ROBIN Robot (ROBIN Robot Employee) - The mandatory component of the Robin platform, designed for local launch and control of the work of software robots created in the studio.

The licensing object is the workplace, it means that there is the possibility of starting robots under one account at one computing power (this can be, both the user’s working computer and the server - physical or virtual).

ROBIN Robot it has functionality:

manual launch and stop of software robots;
launch/restarting software robots in accordance with a custom schedule;
sending letters with logs, video and technical information based on the end of the robot work;
loading software robots to the catalog;
view the history of launches;
view the logo logs.

ROBIN Robot consists of modules:

ROBIN Player - the Robin Robot user interface provides management of local robots.Robin Player launches robots created in Robin Studio (extension files .robin-robot).
ROBIN Agent - an application ensuring the interaction of the components of the Robin Studio-Robin Orchestrator-Robot Robot-Executor platform.
ROBIN Executor - performing engines (.net, java, python), which ensure the performance of scenarios on the platforms.

ROBIN Robot has two executions in the supply:

ROBIN Robot for operating system MS Windows - allows you to launch software robots created using actions implemented on any type of engine (.NET, Java, Python).
ROBIN Robot for operating systems of the Linux family - allows you to launch software robots in the Linux environment created using actions implemented on Java and Python.

The Robin Robot component for MS Windows OS is included in the standard supply of the Robin platform. The Robin Robot component for the Linux family is supplied with a separate distribution, provided on request, along with the instructions for installing and using Linux in a particular environment.

One license ROBIN Robot allows you to execute unlimited number of robots scenarios at one workplace.

Consistent and parallel launch of scripts is available. Robots using the desktop UI are consistently launched, only one software robot can work with UI at one point in time. Parallel performance of scenarios is possible for robots not using UI, and the same resources for work.
