To capture a win element and its parameters, click the SPY button. Then, in the popup window, click the [Capture] button on the right side of the window, and then press the [CTRL] key and left-click the element you want to capture.

Information about the element’s name will appear in the «Tree of window elements» section, and a screenshot of the element will appear in the «Screenshot of the element» section.

Note! The spy window displays the screenshot and identifiers only for the element selected in the elements tree. Thus, you can view the screenshots and identifiers of all elements that the spy was able to identify in the application window and save the required ones.

Clicking on the «Build a tree» button will display the «tree» (list of elements) of the selected Windows application.

When you click on an element in the tree, a screenshot of the element and its parameters will be displayed.

The «List of properties» section contains a list of window parameters and a set of buttons. Clicking the [Capture] button will «capture» the Windows window, and clicking the [Find] button will check if the selected interface element can be found on the screen.

The found element will be highlighted with a red border.

Clicking the [Choose Unique] button will filter the selected parameters to the minimum set required to identify the element.

In the «Order» field, you can manually specify the ordinal number (relative to other elements in the application window) of the selected element. In this case, the field will not be filled automatically.

You can specify the application window number in the "Win order" field.

The «Status» window displays the number of found elements on the screen.

To save the selected element, click the [Save] button. Selected elements are saved in JSON format.
