In order to delete a catalog you need to:

  • Authorize in ROBIN Process 2.0.

  • Go to Activities (1) and select the Catalogs page (2)
    Select the necessary catalog in the table of catalogs and click the Delete button (3) .
  • The Delete message record modal window opens:
    Are you sure you want to delete the catalog <Catalog name>?

  • The user clicks on the Delete button
  • The system checks if the catalog is used in other objects (in other catalogs as entries):
    • if the catalog is not used in other objects, the system deletes: the catalog, the record about the catalog from the Catalogs table, all data that were written to the catalog, the system displays the following notification:
      The catalog <Directory name> has been successfully deleted.
  • If the catalog is used in other objects, then
    • The Delete catalog modal window closes, the catalog is not deleted from the catalog table, the user remains on the Catalogs page. A system notification is displayed:
      This catalog cannot be deleted because it is used in other objects.

    • To delete a catalog, the user must delete an entry in other catalogs
    • The user finds the catalog where the catalog to be deleted is used as an entry, clicks on the name in the directories table 
    • The catalog page opens
    • The user goes to the tab with records and related objects.
    • The user clicks on the Delete button 
    • A modal window opens with a message:
      Are you sure you want to delete the record? When accessing a deleted record, an empty value will be returned
    • User deletes a catalog from related objects
    • The user receives a notification at the bottom right about successful deletion, with the text:
      Record successfully deleted
    • Next, the user repeats the procedure for deleting the required catalog.
