Files used in ROBIN Studio 2.0 as resources are external resources required for some actions. These files are stored inside the robot. However, unlike variables, files is a type of external resource that is used to store files and documents used by actions in the robot script. Unlike files located in the file system on a computer, a file added to a resource will be saved inside the robot script, so you can save files used by the robot and transfer them from machine to machine. A file of any type can be added as a resource.
Unlike variables, a resource of type File cannot be overwritten during the execution of a process execution. Resource files can contain various service information and have any extension (.txt, .xlsx, .png, .dll, etc.). .
To create and view all file-type resources, open the «Resources» "Resources" tab on in the left panel pane and select the «Files» "Files" tab on the left.

If necessary, all files can be sorted by their names (from A to Z or vice versa) by clicking the  button.

To cancel a specific sorting, click the corresponding button again.
