Instances page

When selecting the Instances page (1) in the Activities block, the list of available Workflow instances for the User to work with will be opened. The Instances page is displayed below.

The main part of the page is taken up by columns (3) with headings No., Workflow, Version, Status, Step responsible, Step, Launched, Executed.

With the Columns dropdown list (2) it is possible to select the columns to be displayed in the table from the available columns, with the Workflow column always displayed.

All columns (3) are sortable.

On the right is the Action Menu (4) with buttons for interacting with the workflow.

The page numbering (5) is located at the bottom right, each of which stores previously created workflows; the number of strings per page can be displayed.

The Instances table contains the following columns:

Displays the current status of the Workflow instance:

  • Error – the workflow terminated due to an error in a step
  • Paused – workflow is paused
  • Pause – workflow is on hold
  • Stop manually – the workflow was stopped by one of the users
  • In progress – is currently in progress
  • Finished – the workflow was successfully completed
4.Step responsibleThe name of the person who started the workflow or the machine where the workflow was started is displayed
5.Step 

Contains the current Step of the Workflow instance

6.Launched

Displays the date and time the Workflow instance was started

7.ExecutedDisplays the date and time when the Workflow instance was executed
8.Action menu (4)

Contains action menu buttons for interacting with Workflow instances

In some Workflow instances, you can open the step screen by clicking on the step number:

Clicking on the step number opens the modal window of the screen step form

If the person who opens a step is not its executor or if the step has already been completed, then when opening the modal window, a notification message will appear at the bottom right with the text

You have opened a step in view mode.

Launch workflow

Button starts the Workflow instances

Terminate workflow

Button terminates the Workflow instances.

If the Status column shows the current status of the Workflow instance:

  • Error 
  • Stop manually 
  • Finished , then the Terminate workflow button becomes unavailable

When you click the Terminate workflow button, a modal window appears. The window displays the heading:

Are you sure you want to stop execution of the Workflow instance workflow Name?

The Cancel button is used to cancel the termination of the Workflow instance

The Yes, terminate button is used to confirm the stopping of the Workflow instance

Pause

Button to pause execution of a Workflow instance

The button becomes available only after the Workflow instance is started

When you click the Pause button, a modal window appears. The window displays the heading

Are you sure you want to pause the execution of the Workflow instance workflow Name?

The Cancel button is used to cancel the pausing of a Workflow instance

The Yes, terminate button is used to confirm the pausing of the Workflow instance

Result

When the button is clicked, the result of the Workflow instance execution and its output parameters are displayed

The button is not displayed if no input parameters have been created for the workflow in the Workflow constructor module in the Finish block.

5.

View logs

Contains a button that, when clicked, opens a modal log window that shows the progress of the Workflow instance execution (more in section Description of modal window with logs)

Displays the name of the block being executed in the workflow at each instance step

The column contains references to the corresponding objects:

  • If the step type is Screen form, clicking on the link leads to the Steps page. The modal window of the step executed/executed by the user to whom it was assigned is opened
  • If the step type is Robot, then clicking on the link will jump to the logs of the robot that completed its work
  • If the step type is Subworkflow, clicking on the link takes you to a modal window with logs of the workflow that is being executed or has been executed
3.TypeDisplays the type of workflow block
4.OccurenceEvents that have occurred in the step in progress are displayed
