Example 1. Launching a Workflow Instance

The following steps are performed:

  1. The Workflow Owner on the Workflows page selects the row of the workflow whose Instance is to be launched in the list.
  2. In the row with the selected workflow, the owner clicks on the "Start" button.
  3. The workflow is launched, the Workflow Owner is notified at the bottom right of the " Workflows" page with the text " Workflow Instance workflow [Workflow Name] is launched".
  4. The page is updated with information about the number of launched Workflow Instances.

Example 2. Stopping the operation of all Workflow Instances

The following steps are performed:

  1. The Workflow Owner selects the row of the workflow in the workflow list whose all Instances are to be stopped.
  2. The Workflow Owner clicks on the "Stop" button in the row with the selected workflow.
  3. A modal window is displayed to the process owner with the question "Are you sure you want to stop execution of all instances of the [Workflow name] workflow?".
  4. The Workflow owner clicks on the "Yes, stop" button, displays an alert at the bottom right of the Workflows page with the text "All instances of the [Workflow name] workflow are stopped" and terminates the workflow.
  5. The page is updated with the number of launched Instances of the launched workflow.
  6. The "Stop" button becomes inactive and the "Start" button becomes active.


Example 3. Show instances of the selected workflow

The following steps are performed:

  1. The Workflow Owner has selected a workflow row in the workflow list in which he wants to show Workflow instances.
  2. In the row with the selected workflow, the Workflow Owner clicks the "Show instances" button .
  3. The workflow owner goes to the "Instances" page, where all instances of the selected workflow are displayed.
  4. In the row with the selected workflow, he clicks on the "View logs" button.
  5. The administrator is shown the logs of the workflow.

Example 4. Special launch

The following steps are performed:

  1. The Workflow Owner has selected a workflow row in the workflow list where a special launch is required.
  2. The Workflow Owner clicks on the "Special launch" button in the action menu at the end of the row with the selected workflow  .
  3. The "Special launch" modal window is displayed for the Workflow Owner.
  4. The Workflow Owner fills in the fields and launches the workflow.
  5. The Workflow Owner receives a notification from the bottom right with the text "Successful launch of workflow instances [Workflow name number of instances N]".

Example 5. Searching for a Workflow on the "Workflows" page

The following steps are performed:

  1. The Workflow Owner enters the name of the workflow in the workflow search bar.
  2. The workflow is dynamically searched by case-insensitive partial matches.
  3. As a result of the search, only the searched workflow is displayed (the name is unique).
  4. If necessary, the Workflow Owner has access to all workflow operations for the found workflow.
  5. To restore the list of all workflows, clear the search bar.
