Example 1. Launching a Workflow Instance

The following steps are performed:

  1. The Workflow Administrator, hereafter referred to as Administrator, on the Workflows page in the list selects the row of the workflow whose Instance is to be launched.
  2. In the line with the selected workflow the administrator clicks on the "Start" button.
  3. The workflow is started, the administrator receives a notification from the bottom right of the "Workflows" page with the text "Workflow instance workflow [Workflow name] has been started".
  4. The page is updated with information about the number of started Workflow Instances.

Example 2. Stopping the operation of all Workflow Instances

The following steps are performed:

  1. The administrator selects the row of the workflow in the workflow list whose all Instances are to be stopped.
  2. In the row with the selected workflow, the administrator clicks the Stop button.
  3. The administrator is presented with a modal window asking "Are you sure you want to stop execution of all workflow instances of workflow [Workflow name]?".
  4. The administrator clicks the "Yes, stop" button, displays an alert at the bottom right of the Processes page with the text "All instances of the workflow [Workflow name] have been stopped" and terminates the workflow.
  5. The page is updated with the number of started Instances of the launched workflow.
  6. The "Stop" button becomes inactive, the "Start" button becomes active.

Example 3. Show Instances of the selected workflow

The following steps are performed:

  1. The administrator selects the workflow row in the workflow list in which you want to show instances of the workflow.
  2. In the row with the selected workflow, the administrator clicks the "Show instances" button.
  3. The administrator is taken to the "Instances" page, where all instances of the selected workflow are displayed.
  4. In the line with the selected workflow, the administrator clicks the "View logs" button.
  5. The logs of the workflow are displayed to the administrator.

Example 4. Special launch

The following steps are performed:

  1. An administrator has selected a workflow row in the workflow list where a special launch is required.
  2. The administrator clicks the "Special launch" button in the action menu at the end of the row with the selected workflow.
  3. A modal window is displayed to the administrator.
  4. The administrator fills in the fields and launches the workflow.
  5. The administrator receives a notification from the bottom right with the text "Successful launch of workflow instances [Workflow name number of instances N]"


Example 5. Searching for a Workflow on the " Workflows" page

The following steps are performed:

  1. The administrator enters the name of the Workflow in the Workflow search bar.
  2. The workflow is dynamically searched by case-insensitive partial match.
  3. As a result of the search, only the searched Workflow is displayed (the name is unique).
  4. If necessary, the Administrator can perform all operations with the found workflow.
  5. To restore the list of all workflows, clear the search string.

Example 6. Adding a Workflow to the archive

The following steps are performed:

  1. The administrator selects the row of the workflow to be added to the archive in the workflow list.
  2. The administrator clicks the "Add to archive" button in the action menu at the end of the row with the selected workflow.
  3. The administrator is presented with a modal window with a notification that the workflow has been moved to the archive. The notification text is: "Are you sure you want to archive the workflow [Workflow name]".
  4. The administrator clicks on the "Confirm" button.
  5. The information in the "Workflows" table is updated on the current page.
  6. On the "Archived workflows" page, the information in the " Workflow archive" table is updated.

Example 6: Workflow customization

The following steps are performed:

  1. The administrator selects the row of the workflow to be customized in the list of workflows.
  2. In the last column in the selected row, the administrator clicks on the "Edit" button.
  3. The administrator is presented with a modal window of the workflow settings.
  4. The administrator selects the version of the workflow in the Settings tab.
  5. The administrator clicks the "Save" button.
  6. The page is updated with information about the Workflow.
