Creating a classifier

1. You can create a classifier by clicking the Create classifier button on the Classifiers page.

2. The Create classifier modal window is displayed, the interface of which allows you to load a new archive (index) with the classifier topics.

3. When naming the uploaded classifier, the System checks the name of the classifier for uniqueness.

Only one archive with documents can be uploaded to the modal window Creating a classifier

The description of the interface elements of the modal window Creating a classifier is shown in the figure and the table below:

Element name

Template/example

Description

Field (1)

Name

Example:

Classifier of TS requests

Unique classifier name

Loading unit (2)

Example:

Contains the workflow for launching an application

  • The download block is displayed regardless of whether the archive is added or not
  • After selecting an archive, the name of the selected archive should appear in the block
  • The maximum size of the archive may vary depending on the selected restrictions

Selects an archive with a folder that contains a customized index with topics (the name of the folder with the index will be the name of the archive itself), the archive can be dragged or loaded via explorer, no more than one archive can be attached

Default value:

Select an archive or move here.
Maximum file size: 50 MB

Classifier group

Example:

Classifier for technical support

  • The dropdown list includes all classifier groups available to the user
  • One classifier group can be selected
  • It is possible to search for a group when entering text in the field
  • Search by part of the group name is available: the entered text can be in any part of the name.
  • The register is not taken into account

When adding a group to the field, a cross button is added to clear the field, and the selected workflow is displayed with a check mark in the dropdown list

Next to the field there is an icon with a question mark, if you point at it, a pop-up line with text is displayed:

Classifier is a skill for working with the Assistant chat. Access to the Classifier will be limited to the group you have selected. If the group is not selected, the Classifier skill will not be displayed in the chat.
The name of the skill corresponds to the name of the classifier.

Several classifiers can be added to one classifier group

Field

Classifier description (3)

Example:

Contains a feedback workflow

Brief description of the classifier. This field is optional

Used to describe the classifier's operation and changes made

  • The maximum number of characters is 500
  • The counter displays the current number of characters in the field.
  • If the value is exceeded, no characters are entered
  • When a value is entered in the field, the button to clear the entire field appears

Button

Save

Creates and saves a new classifier
When clicked:

  • The Create classifier modal window closes and the user returns to the Classifiers tab
  • The system adds the classifier as a new row to the Classifiers tab table.
  • If saving is successful, the System redirects the user to the card of the created classifier in the read mode.

Button

Cancel

Cancels the archive download

When clicked:

  • The Create classifier modal window closes, and the user returns to the Classifiers tab
  • The system does not add the classifier to the Classifiers tab table

4. The user selects the archive to be downloaded in the explorer, fills in the Description field and clicks the Save button.

5. The system checks whether all fields are mandatory, whether the classifier name is unique (compares it with existing classifiers in the tenant), whether the file has been added to the download area.

6. If the results of all checks are positive, the modal window Create classifier is closed and the new classifier is added to the system in the table of classifiers.

7. The user is redirected to the card of the created classifier, which is in the reading mode – Classifier card operation in reading and editing modes

Changes are not saved, the Create classifier modal window closes and the User returns to the Classifiers tab if:

  • mandatory fields are not filled in
  • title is not unique
  • the file has not been added to the upload area

Example of classifier creation

Preface

  1. The user must be authorized in the ROBIN Process.
  2. The system opens the Home page section.
  3. The user selects the Assistant section, the Settings page, the Classifiers tab.

Realization

  1. The user clicks the Create classifier button.
  2. The Create classifier modal window opens.

3. The user selects an archive for downloading in the explorer, fills in the Description field.

4. If an archive not exceeding the maximum size is added to the download area, the next step is performed.

5. If the user is sure that he wants to create a classifier, he clicks on the Save button and proceeds to the next step.

6. The system checks for this:

    • filling in mandatory fields
    • classifier name for uniqueness - compares with existing classifiers in the tenant
    • adding a file to the upload area

7. The Create classifier modal window closes, the new classifier is added to the table of classifiers (see Classifiers tab) .

8. The user is redirected to the Card of the created classifier, which is in read mode, the script ends here. More details can be found here: Classifier card operation in reading and editing modes

9. If the System detects at least one discrepancy during the check, the modal window closes, the changes are not saved, the user remains on the Classifiers tab, and the script is terminated.

10. If the user decides to cancel the classifier creation, the user clicks Cancel, the modal window closes, the changes are not saved, the user remains on the Classifiers tab, and the script ends.

11. If you click the Save button, the Classifier tab with the loaded archive is displayed. The data from the archive are unloaded to the Table of correspondence of subjects and types of Assistant's answers. The Topics column fills the table with the topics of the uploaded archive.

Deleting a classifier

  1. The user selects a classifier in the table (1) and clicks the Delete button (2).

2. A modal window opens with a warning:
Are you sure you want to delete the <Classifier name> classifier?

3. The user clicks the Delete button.

4. The modal window closes, the classifier <Classifier name> is deleted from the system, the classifier record is deleted from the table with classifiers, the user remains on the Classifiers tab.

5. A system notification is displayed:
Classifier <Classifier name> deleted.

6. If the user clicks Cancel, the modal window closes, the classifier is not deleted, and the user remains on the Classifiers tab.
